Broadway Manor is a magnificent Arts and Crafts style manor house, nestled in the heart of beautiful Cotswold countryside just a short distance from the idyllic village of Broadway, widely renowned for being one of the most beautiful villages in the Cotswolds. Broadway Manor stands in delightful private grounds within the 500 acre Farncombe Estate, with an impressive sweeping driveway with central fountain, and beautiful gardens including a sunset terrace with stunning panoramic views over the Vale of Evesham.
Built in 1909, Broadway Manor has a wonderful layout, designed by noted architect Joseph Lancaster Ball to capture all-day sunlight with four “wings” around a central body. The house was for many years a family home to the WW2 hero Henry Maudslay, before the current owners acquired the estate in 1970.
In recent years a multi-million pound restoration has returned Broadway Manor to its former glory, with meticulous attention to detail in preserving and restoring the Cotswold stone mullions, fireplaces and the original grand staircase. The results are simply stunning, a wonderful blend of old and new, with stylish and elegant interiors and fabulous bedroom suites making this one of the Cotswolds’ most luxurious private residences.
