Of course it doesn’t stop at the food; fine wines can be hand picked and delivered to your door, or sample some of the finest whiskeys in the world with an evening of whiskey tasting. Ideal for special occasions or the perfect way to relax with friends, a gastronomic escape with Elysian Estates is a wonderful experience you will cherish for years to come.

    Private Catering

    All of our beautiful homes for rent offer fabulous catering services, from finger buffets to fine dining. Several properties go that little bit further to offer cuisine designed and created by some of the UK’s best chefs.

    Tregulland Retreat, or Tregulland Barn and Cottage for smaller groups, offer in house catering from The Seafood Restaurant in Cornwall, owned by the world renowned Rick Stein. Lead by Rick’s son Jack (head of development at The Seafood Restaurant), guests can enjoy a bespoke tasting menu designed to showcase some of the best regional produce available, tailored to the seasons.

    At Little Polgarron, a stunning contemporary beachfront residence in Cornwall, you can not only sample some of the world’s best cooking but source it too, with a wild-food walk along the beach, accompanied again by Jack Stein, who will then use the handpicked ingredients to cook a four course meal back at the house. A sensational experience and divine food.

    Temple Guiting Manor and Temple Guiting Barn offer in house catering from some of the UK’s leading professionals, and why stop there when you can learn the tricks of the trade with cooking demonstrations, cake baking classes or cocktail making from some of the best in the business.

    Pennsylvania Castle not only offers great food, but an extensive wine list to match, with some of the world’s best wines and spirits available to be delivered and served so you can sit back, relax and enjoy the experience. Broughton Hall even has its very own wine cellar!

    Lagoon Lodge and Lake Lodge are all located within the exclusive Cotswold estate The Lakes by Yoo, giving you access to catering by Allium, the renowned Michelin starred restaurant. With fantastic cuisine using locally sourced produce, you can sample Michelin starred standards from the comfort of your home with breathtaking views over the lakes. Culinary heaven.

    Fabulous Restaurants

    When it comes to visiting restaurants, Upcott House, The Gallery and Gospel Hall have an exclusive and unique advantage: discounted dining at River Cottage HQ in nearby Axminster. This world renowned restaurant lead by Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall regularly hosts Friday and Saturday special fine dining, and courses and events throughout the week. Guests of these beautiful properties can enjoy exclusive discounts of up to 33%! Combined with the award winning accommodation on offer, along with proximity to Hix Oyster and Fish House in Lyme Regis, this is the perfect escape for gastronomes everywhere!

    Looe Island View is a small but beautiful house on the south coast of Cornwall, within easy reach of Restaurant Nathan Outlaw, just down the coast at Fowey. A prodigious talent, Nathan Outlaw draws diners from far and wide to his acclaimed eatery, which is set against the stunning backdrop of the Fowey estuary. A short menu plays with classic combinations, but while concepts are simple, dishes are beautifully timed and praised for their great flavours.

    Elkstones is a stunning Cotswold mansion, within easy reach of the two Michelin-starred restaurant Le Champignon Sauvage in Cheltenham, or sample the largely undiscovered but brilliant Lumiere, also within Cheltenham. Also within a short drive is Lords of The Manor at the beautiful village of Upper Slaughter, with 3 AA Rosettes and a Michelin star. Also in the Cotswolds, Bowmoor Lodge, Island Lodge and Lake Lodge are ten minutes’ drive from Allium, one of the best restaurants in the region.

    The beautiful Broughton Hall in Yorkshire is just a short drive from The Burlington Restaurant at Bolton Abbey, one of the most acclaimed restaurants in Yorkshire with 4 AA Rosettes and a Michelin Star to its name.

    And of course London cannot be missed for some of the very best dining experiences in the world. Elmbourne House is conveniently located for easy access to some of the UK’s best restaurants, including One-O-One, Le Gavroche, and Umu.

    Drinks
    No dining experience would be complete without accompanying drinks. When you stay at one of our properties we can arrange a full drinks service, whether you are simply looking for a delivery of wine to the property ready for you to enjoy at your leisure, or a sommelier to devise a flight of wine to accompany your meal, we can assist.

    Or perhaps you would like to arrange wine or whiskey tasting, with a knowledgeable host to guide you through the process. If you are having a party, hiring waiting staff means you can relax and enjoy yourself in the company of friends, without worrying about whether your guests’ glasses are empty. Or perhaps you would like a master mixologist to conjure up some fabulous cocktails to help make your party go with a bang. Our experienced team can assist and advise to ensure your special event is perfect.
