The magnificent Hall has recently been extensively restored to offer on the UK’s most beautiful venues, approached via a mile-long driveway it affords excellent levels of privacy and creates an enchanting entrance. The vast ceilings and sash windows inspire an incredible sense of grandeur and light, with beautiful antique furnishings and glittering chandeliers adding to the sense of occasion. Yet there is a wonderfully welcoming feel here, without a hint of pretence, so guests can relax and enjoy the Hall as they would their own home.
The splendid Saloon forms the heart of the house, with its beautiful intricate plastering and frescoed ceiling, it makes a wonderful setting for dining for up to 80 or drinks receptions for 150. The Ballroom is one of the most opulent rooms in the Hall with its gilded detailing and rich colours and fabrics, ideal for formal occasions and gala dinners for up to 120 guests.
The elegant Tapestry Room is flooded with natural light, with its beautiful pillars and dual aspect windows, along with a raised area lending itself naturally to ceremonies and presentations. The Winter Garden is a lovely setting for drinks receptions, again wonderfully light and airy and with calming green and white tones, along with direct access to the grounds.
After dark the Hall is truly captivating, with roaring fireplaces and flickering candlelight creating a wonderfully atmospheric setting for elegant dinners and fireside chats long into the night in one of the two cosy lounges.
The Chapel and Refectory are adjacent to the Hall, and offer further space for banquets of up to 200 guests or drinks receptions for 250 people, and are ideal for late night revelry and dancing. The Chapel is a beautiful room with a grand arched ceiling and private bar, whilst the Refectory offers direct access to the lawn and boasts bespoke chandeliers.
The beautiful grounds offer ample opportunities for activities, with traditional garden games and croquet available, along with country pursuits such as laser clay shooting, archery and falconry. The local area offers golf, fishing and beautiful walks, including the renowned Hawkstone Park Golf Club with two golf courses, just one mile away from the Hall.
