The beautiful reception rooms are immaculately furnished but never stuffy, with a lavish Drawing Room, a charming Library and a choice of elegant rooms for private dining and meetings. The Restaurant Hywel Jones is a spectacular setting for dining, with its glittering crystal chandeliers, rich fabrics and vast windows boasting beautiful views. Enjoy sophisticated cuisine with a modern flair, awarded it’s first Michelin star in 2006 and retaining the accolade ever since under the skilful Executive Chef, Hywel Jones. The Restaurant can seat 80 people for formal dinners, or up to 110 in conjunction with the Music Room.
For those looking for a more relaxed dining experience, The Brasserie is a beautiful setting, located in the spa building. It offers a wonderfully light and airy contemporary interior, with extensive glass bifold doors onto the charming garden. The Brasserie offers excellent locally sourced seasonal produce, beautifully cooked and presented, to ensure maximum taste without any fuss.
There are 42 luxurious rooms at Lucknam Park, including 29 bedrooms and 13 suites, which are split across the main house and the charming courtyard. The rooms are all refined and elegant, from the cosy Classic Rooms to the lavish Grand Master Suite. Bathrooms are traditionally styled and many feature free standing rolltop bath tubs and separate showers, along with luxurious ESPA bathroom amenities and underfloor heating.
One of the jewels in Lucknam Park’s glittering crown is its amazing state of the art spa, with a stunning 20m indoor pool with its curved glass ceiling and contemporary fireplace creating real wow factor. Enjoy indoor and outdoor hydrotherapy pools, an outdoor salt water plunge pool, Japanese salt room, aromatherapy room, crystal steam room, sauna, tepidarium, experience showers, relaxation room and eight treatment rooms, with expert therapists on hand to deliver an extensive treatment menu.
There is a well equipped gym, floodlit tennis courts, personal trainers, yoga and pilates, along with The Brasserie with its relaxed dining and open plan kitchen and bar area. The 500 acre estate includes running and walking trails, a 5 a side football pitch, outdoor gym and there are a variety of outdoor activities available including clay pigeon shooting, archery, falconry and many more.
Guests may also make use of the estate’s Cookery School to perfect skills and master new techniques, or for equestrian fans, there is a riding school with 35 horses and ponies to suit all ages and abilities, from complete novices through to advanced riders. There is an all weather arena available for lessons in general horsemanship, dressage, jumping or cross country, in addition to beautiful hacks through the estate or longer rides into the surrounding countryside, and a fabulous cross country course designed by the same designers as Badminton Horse Trials.
Please do note, if taking Lucknam Park on an exclusive use basis, the spa, brasserie, cookery school and equestrian centre are not part of the exclusive agreement, however, are of course available for guests to use throughout their stay.
